Job Summary
The Communications Manager for Latam Distributon & Colombia is responsible for implementing the communications strategy at the local level, ensuring alignment with the company’s corporate narrative, reputation priorities and brand positioning. This role leads the planning and execution of internal and external communications, events, and digital presence across Latam Distributon & Colombia, working closely with the Latin America Communications team to ensure message consistency and strategic alignment.
The position collaborates with Business Units and local leadership to translate global priorities into impactful communication initiatives that strengthen brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, and employee alignment in the Latin America market.
The role reports to the Latin America Communications Manager, with a dotted line to the General Manager in Latam Distribution & Colombia.
Key Accountabilities
- Implement the communications strategy in Latam Distribution & Colombia, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and business priorities.
- Translate global communication priorities into relevant local communication plans and initiatives.
- Manage internal and external communications across Latam Distribution & Colombia ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with global corporate messaging.
- Collaborate with Latin America Communications and Global Communications to support corporate campaigns, leadership communications, and reputation-building initiatives.
- Plan and execute local communication initiatives, campaigns, and events that support business priorities.
- Lead the planning and delivery of congresses, corporate events, and stakeholder engagement activities in the region.
- Oversee the management of local digital channels, including websites and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with corporate brand and content strategy.
- Support local leadership with communication materials, presentations, and messaging aligned with global narratives.
- Monitor communication impact and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve local communication initiatives.
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance with corporate communication guidelines across all regional materials and activities.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Previous experience within communications and events in a similar organisation would be a strong advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing and communications policies and processes.
- Language fluency: Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese is a plus.
