Job Purpose
Ensure the efficiency, predictability, and continuous improvement of operations and deliveries within ExitLag’s Network division, coordinating operations across three areas: InfraCore (DevOps/SRE), InfraNode (Network, Expansion, and FinOps), and InfraSec (Security).
The role will be responsible for organizing and monitoring projects, operational demands, incidents, and team priorities, structuring processes, optimizing resources, and promoting greater integration, visibility, and efficiency in deliveries.
The role will work directly with the Head of Network and technical leaders, with the autonomy to manage day-to-day operations, anticipate risks and bottlenecks, and support data-driven decisions, helping leadership maintain their focus on technical and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Management and Operational Efficiency
- Coordinate the planning, organization, and monitoring of requests from the InfraCore, InfraNode, and InfraSec divisions, including strategic projects, recurring activities, incidents, expansions, maintenance, and requests from other areas.
- Conduct the day-to-day operational management of requests, tracking responsible parties, priorities, deadlines, obstacles, and escalations, with autonomy and a sense of responsibility for results.
- Organize and review priorities by considering criticality, risks, team capacity, dependencies, and business impact.
- Identify priority conflicts, overloads, bottlenecks, and blocked requests, proposing solutions and escalating situations requiring strategic or technical decisions to leadership.
- Structure and improve processes and workflows, balancing unplanned requests and strategic projects, with a focus on efficiency, predictability, and continuous improvement.
Governance, Metrics, and Performance
- Define, monitor, and analyze metrics for operational efficiency, workflow, and predictability, including lead time, cycle time, throughput, backlog aging, blocked requests, response time, recurring incidents, and infrastructure expansion time.
- Monitor DORA metrics and operational reliability indicators, where applicable, linking the results to opportunities for improvement and business objectives.
- Develop dashboards and management reports that provide visibility into requests, deliveries, capacity, risks, impediments, and results.
- Support capacity planning and the organization of roadmaps by identifying overloads, improper distribution of requests, dependencies, and conflicts between operational activities and strategic initiatives.
- Establish mechanisms for tracking commitments, action plans, and team objectives, ensuring traceability and progress in deliveries.
- Keep relevant processes, workflows, and decisions documented and up to date.
Stakeholder Integration and Management
- Promote operational coordination among InfraCore, InfraNode, and InfraSec, ensuring alignment of priorities, responsibilities, and dependencies.
- Serve as a liaison between Network, Engineering, Product, Games, Support, and other departments, managing shared requests from start to finish.
- Facilitate communication between technical and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity regarding objectives, deadlines, risks, and next steps.
- Support the Head and technical leaders in organizing management routines, including follow-up meetings, recording commitments, action plans, and monitoring individual and collective goals.
- Act proactively to identify deviations and areas requiring intervention, bringing to the attention of leadership—primarily—decisions, risks, and situations that require their attention.
- Contribute to the integration of strategic planning, operational capacity, and execution, while respecting the responsibilities of technical and people management leaders.
Agile Methodologies and Continuous Improvement
- Apply and adapt Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and other management approaches to the teams’ operational reality, taking into account projects, recurring requests, incidents, and unplanned activities.
- Facilitate planning, status, alignment, and retrospective meetings, prioritizing objectivity, clarity of responsibilities, and results.
- Structure and optimize workflows, boards, automations, and dashboards in management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or equivalent platforms.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce bureaucracy, rework, and operational bottlenecks.
- Promote practices that strengthen autonomy, collaboration, organization, and shared responsibility among teams.
- Support the evolution of the department’s operational maturity, balancing agility, reliability, quality, and sustainability of deliverables.
