Job Purpose
Lead ExitLag’s marketing strategy in Taiwan and other strategic Asian countries, ensuring growth, engagement, and local market penetration. This role is responsible for connecting the brand with the local gaming community by creating culturally relevant campaigns, partnerships, and initiatives that expand ExitLag’s presence in the Asian market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the marketing strategy for Taiwan, with plans aligned with ExitLag’s global objectives.
- Work directly with influencers, content creators, gaming communities, partners, and local publishers.
- Develop and execute paid media, social media, partnership, event, and brand activation initiatives tailored to the cultural context.
- Engage with the local gaming community, understanding consumer habits, language, culture, and regional trends.
- Coordinate with translators and internal teams to ensure consistent communication and cultural adaptation of campaigns.
- Monitor performance and engagement KPIs, working closely with the data team to identify opportunities and optimizations.
- Serve as the primary bridge between the brand and the gaming community in Taiwan, strengthening awareness and engagement.
- Identify opportunities for expansion in the Asian market, with an initial focus on Taiwan, by evaluating strategic channels, partnerships, and events.
Technical Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or related fields.
- Proven experience in local/international marketing within the technology, gaming, or digital sectors.
- Knowledge of digital media, social media, influencers, and 360-degree campaigns.
- Experience engaging with gaming communities and within the esports ecosystem.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (required).
- Previous experience at multinational companies or gaming companies is preferred.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools, performance metrics, and ROI.
