Job Purpose
Serve as the team’s tactical and operational leader, ensuring predictable execution, high-quality deliverables, and continuous improvement in engineering maturity. The Tech Lead bridges strategy, people, and execution, ensuring that the team operates efficiently, with alignment, and with accountability for technical and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical decisions with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Ensure engineering best practices: code reviews, automated testing, documentation, and version control.
- Promote a culture of quality and adequate test coverage.
- Use metrics and observability data (logs, tracing, monitoring) to guide technical decisions.
- Monitor the backlog, task progress, and delivery cycles through to completion.
- Manage the technical backlog: bugs, improvements, technical debt, etc.
- Create and track technical and productivity KPIs, providing strategic insight to stakeholders.
- Identify and prioritize technical debt in collaboration with the Product team and leadership.
- Support technical channels and maintain constant alignment with the Product Manager.
- Act as a facilitator in resolving technical and organizational challenges.
- Develop team members through 1:1s, structured feedback, and development plans.
Technical Requirements:
- Solid experience in software development and systems architecture.
- Solid experience in managing technical teams and developing team members.
- Proficiency in CI/CD, automated testing (unit, integration, E2E), and code review.
- Experience with observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing).
- Experience with DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in agile environments and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with the following stack: Node.js, Vue 3, TypeScript.
- Experience with frameworks such as Nuxt and NestJS.
