Job Purpose

We are looking for a Tech Lead to lead a critical technical domain of our platform, with real responsibility for architecture, quality, stability, and systemic evolution.

This is not just a coordination role.

It is a hands-on technical leadership role with a direct impact on production.


Key Responsibilities

  • Technically lead the engineering team, ensuring architectural clarity and strategic direction.
  • Delegate tasks with technical context and systemic vision, not just distribute demands.
  • Conduct structured 1:1 meetings focused on technical evolution, autonomy, and team maturity.
  • Be responsible for the complete development cycle: technical definition, implementation, code review, deployment, monitoring, and post-release impact analysis.
  • Act directly on critical incidents, taking technical responsibility for resolution.
  • Lead system design discussions, documenting architectural decisions and their trade-offs.
  • Ensure that technical decisions consider systemic impact, performance, scalability, and sustainability of the architecture.
  • Ensure continuous code quality (standards, testing, low coupling, and complexity control).
  • Continuously evolve the architecture, preventing structural technical debt.
  • Harmonize and organize the architecture between services and domains.
  • Ensure technical predictability, clear metrics, and application reliability.
  • Structure failure and post-mortem processes, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Develop the team's technical autonomy and foster a safe environment for technical debates.
  • Maintain constant alignment between engineering and product.
  • Take responsibility for the production and stability of the systems under your leadership.


Technical Requirements


Backend

  • Solid experience with Node.js and NestJS.
  • Proficiency in GraphQL (queries, mutations, subscriptions, and schema modeling).
  • Experience with REST APIs.

Database & ORM

  • Experience with Sequelize or TypeORM.
  • Proficiency in MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
  • Relational modeling, index creation, and query optimization.
  • Experience with structured migrations.

Distributed Architecture

  • Experience with distributed systems in production.
  • Use of cache (Redis or similar).
  • Messaging (Kafka or similar).
  • Asynchronous processing.
  • Transactional control and data consistency.

Infrastructure & Operations

  • Experience with Docker.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD (automated pipelines).
  • Monitoring and observability.
  • Structured and traceable logs.

Technical Management

  • Experience leading technical teams.
  • Structuring latency, error, and availability metrics.
  • Ability to anticipate architectural risks.
  • Experience with structured post-mortem processes.
  • Strong sense of responsibility for production environments.
