Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with full-stack vision to work on highly complex technical products that have a direct impact on the business and strong integration between backend, frontend, and infrastructure. This position is backend-driven: the main focus is architecture, data mastery, performance, and integrations. Frontend knowledge is important to ensure autonomy, delivery quality, and good collaboration with the product team.

Responsibilities

Backend (main focus)

• Design, develop, and evolve scalable and high-performance APIs
• Work extensively on service architecture, code organization, and standards
• Work with messaging, asynchronous jobs, and events
• Ensure technical quality: testing, observability, logs, and metrics
• Actively participate in strategic refactoring and legacy system evolution
• Collaborate on technical decisions with Tech Leads and Product

Frontend (support and systemic vision)

• Work on the frontend when necessary, ensuring:
• Correct integration with APIs
• Good componentization practices
• Performance and readability
• Collaborate with design and product teams on the technical feasibility of solutions

Requirements (Must Have)

Backend

• Solid experience as a Senior Backend Developer
• Proficiency in Node.js (preferably with NestJS) and/or Python
• Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, similar)
• Experience with distributed systems
• Real experience with Docker and deployment environments
• Strong concern for code quality, testing, and maintenance

Frontend (good understanding)

• Practical knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with modern frameworks (Vue.js, React, or similar)
• Knowledge of:
• Componentization
• State
• API consumption
• Ability to work on the frontend without constant dependency

Differentials (Nice to Have)

• Experience with GraphQL in production
• Experience with infrastructure and cloud (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Experience with observability (logs, metrics, tracing)
• Knowledge of Redis, queues, and cache
• Experience in high-scale or low-latency environments
• Experience working in mature engineering teams with clear processes
